A first step does not have to be large to mark a real beginning. The Stone of the First Step is dedicated to the moment when an idea becomes one small action towards a different chapter in your life.
The personal moment behind the intention
You might want to return to a neglected hobby, make a change at home or finally begin a plan that has remained in your notebook. This intention does not demand a complete transformation. It asks for one manageable start. Place the stone near a sketchbook, a planning page or the object you need for your first action, making your intention easy to recognise when the moment arrives.
Reading every part of the sign
The fixed Dawn sign has a horizontal horizon, a curved rise above it and a separate short vertical accent higher up. The horizon evokes what is already familiar. The upward arc symbolises the appearance of a fresh possibility; the little upper mark suggests the first point of light. These three strokes remain distinct in the fixed hand-painted composition.
How this stone differs from related designs
The First Breath Stone concerns a gentle moment of making space after a transition. First Step takes the idea further into a deliberate action. It is also unlike First Day, which has a specific professional setting. This stone belongs to personal renewal of many kinds, including interests and routines that do not involve work or public milestones.
A natural surface, painted by hand
On the real natural white surface, the horizon stays straight and recognisable. The rising arc meets it at its ends, while the short accent remains separate above. A broad stone can give the horizon more width; a longer one may emphasise the vertical appearance of dawn. The hand-painted proportions are adapted without altering the fixed three-part sign.
The product is one natural white stone approximately 2–3 cm wide and 3–4 cm long. Its fixed sign is painted by hand on the real surface, with the fixed arrangement adapted to the individual contour. Each piece has its own edge, subtle white tones and texture while the symbol remains recognisable.
What the Baptism of Intention means
The Baptism of Intention gives the Dawn a particular beginning to represent. 'I practise for ten minutes today' can fit a creative skill. 'I make the first appointment' may suit a plan that has been delayed. Your words need not name a distant final success. The first action is valuable on its own, especially when the wider future is not yet fully shaped.
The painted stone is then prepared through MYRUNA's Baptism of Intention, a symbolic dedication to the meaning already assigned to this design. You may contribute a personal line up to 250 characters, or leave the field empty and keep the stone's established intention. The dedication gives the painted mark its place within the MYRUNA story rather than altering its shape.
The Night of Connection
The Night of Connection echoes the image of dawn emerging from darkness. Symbolically, the horizon remains as the new arc appears above it. The design therefore speaks not of erasing the past but of opening a next possibility from where you are. It honours a beginning that can be chosen without needing a perfect map for everything to follow.
The Night of Connection follows as another symbolic stage of MYRUNA's preparation. Over a night, the painted mark and its chosen purpose are brought together in the story of this individual stone before it is ready for transport.
Two ways to make the symbolism your own
Keep the stone by a sketchbook if you want to start drawing again and make one line on the first page. Or place it beside the shoes you plan to use for a new walking routine and choose a short initial route. Each practice uses the sign differently, but both turn the idea of a beginning into an achievable act.
One stone costs €29.90, and preparation takes 1–5 days before transport. The fixed symbol is visible before purchase and stays fixed. The only optional personal entry is an intention of up to 250 characters; no birth date or sign selection is required.
Your ritual

- Trace the horizon and describe where you are now.
- Follow the rising arc and choose one small new action.
- At the short upper accent, decide when you will begin.
- Return the stone after completing that first deliberate movement.
