A stone is not selected solely because its photographed shape appeals to you. Its painted sign carries a particular meaning, and choosing it deliberately is the heart of the purchase. If two signs appeal to you, compare their actual Atlas descriptions before deciding.

The Atlas is arranged in four Circles and 24 Paths, but there are more individual MYRUNA signs than Paths. Several distinct signs can belong to one Path. When a Path takes you to a stone product, check the exact sign shown in the selector. The design you choose, not merely the Path label, determines which geometry will be painted. Customers can choose a specific existing sign.

Choose the basic stone when one sign and its meaning are enough. The zodiac stone is for someone who wishes to add a selected zodiac reference alongside the main sign; it is not an astrology chart or reading. Choose the named stone when a name and date of birth are meaningful to the recipient or wearer. These are alternatives, not steps in an upgrade ladder. Consider the information you genuinely want to share before selecting a version.

A short intention can give the sign a personal context without asking you to disclose your private life. Simple wording such as 'a calm new beginning' or 'stronger personal boundaries' is sufficient. The intention does not turn one canonical sign into another, nor does it guarantee a particular outcome. If the question you wish to explore is more complex than a short intention, a separate MYRUNA reading may be the more suitable offering.

According to MYRUNA's sourcing information, the white stones most commonly come from Greece and Egypt, while some batches come from elsewhere. Individual pieces are not assigned a more precise origin unless it is known. Approximate size is 2–3 cm in width and 3–4 cm in length. Variations in outline, tone and texture make every stone different; the painted sign retains its recognisable form.

Photographs show the natural white material, the hand-painted character of the signs and examples of the finished presentation. They do not identify the exact individual stone that will be selected for a future order. The stone may be slightly longer, rounder, smoother or differently shaded than the photographed example. These differences do not replace the chosen symbol. Lettering on the named version must also remain legible on a small, irregular surface.

A gift stone begins with the person you have in mind and the meaning you would like to share. For a friend beginning a new chapter, consider signs associated with change; for a loved one, explore connection, but avoid assuming that the symbol controls another person's feelings. A basic stone does not require the recipient's birth date. A named version does, so verify the spelling and date before adding to the basket.

If you want a stone for protection and another for a new beginning, choose two separate items and check the sign of each one. The same applies when purchasing for two people: the intention or personalisation belonging to one stone should not be copied into the other. Review each line in the basket and the order summary, especially when combining basic, zodiac and named versions. One order may contain different meanings without merging them into a single sign.

After a sign is chosen, the stone is hand-painted and follows the Baptism of Intention and Night of Connection traditions described in the MYRUNA Book. Keep the stone near you, in a pouch or pocket, and return to its meaning during everyday reflection. Choose a comfortable place for an uneven natural surface. MYRUNA tradition also holds that a personal stone is not ordinarily lent to others. The practice expresses spiritual belief and personal connection rather than a guaranteed result.

A physical stone is a natural hand-painted object. A reading of an existing sign is an individually prepared digital interpretation of its meaning and place in the Atlas. A custom digital symbol design is another service again; it is not automatically painted onto a stone. Stones may carry names that seem similar at first glance, so read the actual sign meanings and compare their geometry before choosing zodiac or name personalisation. An intention can express your wish to speak openly; it cannot direct someone else's feelings.

Protection might mean holding a personal boundary, creating a symbolic reminder for your home or connecting with the old language of amulets. Calm centres on balance in ordinary life, while courage concerns taking a step despite uncertainty. These themes overlap but are not interchangeable. A symbol for your own boundaries need not be the same as a sign chosen for the threshold of a house. Choose the meaning first and the visual form second.

A stone of renewal can mark a move, a new job or a deliberate fresh start. Farewell concerns closure; remembrance honours a bond with someone who has died. These are distinct human experiences. MYRUNA's Soul Stone and Stone of Passing have separate established purposes and should not be treated as generic stones for new beginnings.
